UBCO has a Radio Station?
Kind of, our Internet Station is operational, but our main objective is the establishment of an FM Campus/Community Radio Station run by students and community members.
When will the FM Station be up and running?
Several years.
What kind of music will you play?
Whatever's not being played by Commercial Radio Stations. CIRO will showcase the music of Okanagan bands, national, and international artists from a variety of genres whose music is not typically broadcast by local stations.
Can I host my own show?
Yes.
Can I host a show if I don’t go to UBCO?
Yes.
Where is your studio located?
In the student services building at UBCO. We share a space with the student newspaper (The Phoenix)
How can get involved?
Email radio@ciro.ca or programming@ciro.ca and let us know you’re interested.
What kind of jobs do you need help with?
Production (shows), fundraising, lobbying labels for music, research, networking, promotion, Web design work, etc.
How much time do I need to commit to as a volunteer?
However much time you can spare.
Do you have radio meetings?
Yes, inform us that you’d like to be on our list serve, by emailing us at radio@ciro.ca, and we’ll tell you where and when meetings are.
I’m in a band, will you play my cd?
Yes, send all disc's, EP's etc. to:

I’m interested in journalism, can I be a reporter?
Yes, email us. We need reporters.
Who are the dj's?
The majority of our hosts are students although we do have some community involvement.
