CIRO Continuing Education Programs

Approved Persons of CIRO Dealer Members fall under one of three continuing education (CE) programs as set under CIRO Rules.

  • If your sponsoring firm is a mutual fund dealer and you are approved outside of Québec, you are subject to the requirements of the MFD CE program as set under CIRO MFD Rules 1.2, 1.2.6 and 900.
  • If your sponsoring firm is a mutual fund dealer and you are approved in Québec, you are subject to the Conditions relating to the exemptive relief for Québec mutual fund dealers (Québec MFD exemptive relief conditions).
  • If your sponsoring firm is an investment dealer, you are subject to the requirements of the ID CE program under CIRO IDPC Rule 2700.
  • If you have questions about which CE program applies to you, please contact your sponsoring Dealer Member.
