Marc Provost

Marc Provost is a seasoned investment executive with more than 40 years of experience in asset management, institutional investing and public markets. He brings significant expertise in investment management, corporate strategy, governance and board leadership, along with a strong regional perspective developed through senior roles at some of Québec's leading financial institutions to CIRO's Board. Throughout his career, he has held executive and chief investment officer positions spanning the insurance, pension, asset management and investment sectors, including leadership roles at Desjardins Global Asset Management, Intact Financial Corporation, and the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec. He holds both the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD.D) designations.

Mr. Provost currently serves as a member of the Management Committee for Financial Assets at the Fonds de solidarité des travailleurs du Québec (FTQ), and on the investment committees of the Signal49 Research (formerly the Conference Board of Canada) and Les Prêtres de Saint-Sulpice de Montréal. He also brings valuable governance experience through his role on the Echo Foundation and previous service as a board member of Desjardins Global Asset Management. His extensive leadership experience, deep understanding of Canadian capital markets and institutional investing, and longstanding contributions to Québec's financial services sector position him well to support CIRO's Board and the organization's mandate and strategic priorities.
