Aligned Capital Partners Inc.

The Ontario District Council of the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada have approved the change of control of Aligned Capital Partners Inc. (ACPI), whereby CI Financial Corp, the indirect parent of IIROC Dealer Members Assante Capital Management Ltd. and BBS Securities Inc., will indirectly acquire 70% interest in ACPI. The remaining 30% interest in ACPI will be held by five current shareholders (no one shareholder with 10% or more).

The effective date of this transaction is October 19, 2020.
