Victoria has been with CIRO (and predecessor organizations) for over 25 years.

In her current role as Senior Vice-President of the Transition Management Office (TMO), Victoria, along with Nigel Carpenter, is responsible for overseeing all activities related to the integration of IIROC and the MFDA into CIRO.

She previously served as Senior Vice-President, Market Regulation where she oversaw all CIRO market-related activities including trade surveillance (equity, debt, cross-asset and crypto), policy development and audits, as well as leading CIRO’s Analytics team.

During her career, Victoria has become one of the country’s foremost experts on market regulation, participating in key national and international dialogues shaping the field. She is the past Chair of the Intermarket Surveillance Group, an international group of self-regulatory organizations which are responsible for market supervision and which focuses on information sharing and the coordination of regulatory efforts to address potential risks and trading abuses.

Before her career in market regulation, Victoria pursued a career in opera performance and continued to perform regularly with the Canadian Opera Company.
