Janet Woodruff
Corporate Director
Ms. Woodruff is a corporate director and retired executive. Ms. Woodruff bestows extensive mutual fund dealer self-regulatory knowledge to the CIRO Board.
She serves on the boards of Ballard Power Systems, Keyera Corporation and Altus Group Limited. Ms. Woodruff recently served as a board member of Capstone Infrastructure Corporation (2013 – 2023).
Prior to 2012, she worked for BC Hydro as Vice President and Special Advisor (2010-2011) and the British Columbia Transmission Corporation as Interim President (2009-2010) and Vice President, Corporate Services and Chief Financial Officer (2007-2008). Ms. Woodruff previously served on the Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada (MFDA) Board of Directors for several years.
Ms. Woodruff holds the ICD.D designation and is a Fellow Chartered Accountant of British Columbia. She earned her Bachelor of Science (Honours) from Western University and her Master of Business Administration degree from York University.
