Jennifer Newman

Ms. Newman has extensive experience in finance, technology delivery, project & change management and data as well as running back-office operations. Ms. Newman is currently working at the Mastercard Foundation as a Special Advisor to the Investment Committee of the Board. Prior to that, Ms. Newman spent more than 10 years at Canada’s largest single-profession pensions plan, the Ontario Teacher’s Pension Plan (OTPP) where she held several roles including running Operations and Technology Delivery. Prior to joining OTPP, Ms. Newman worked at both CIBC and BMO holding various roles in Finance, Risk and Corporate Strategy. She received her CPA (CA) while working at PWC in technology consulting and insolvency. Ms. Newman brings extensive experience in financial operations, technology, risk and change management, through challenging times, in both the pension and banking sectors. Ms. Newman received the ICD.D designation from Rotman School of Business and the Institute of Corporate Directors, and has a BCOMM (Hons) from Queen’s University.
