Calgary (Alberta), June 18, 2024 – The hearing scheduled for June 19 and 20, 2024, has been converted to an appearance before a hearing panel of the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO) under the Mutual Fund Dealer Rules in the case of Juan Carlos Saavedra.

The appearance is open to the public unless the hearing panel orders otherwise. The date for the disciplinary hearing will be made available at www.ciro.ca.

Appearance Date: June 19, 2024 at 10:00 am (Moutain Time)

Location: Calgary, Alberta by videoconference

Members of the public who would like to obtain further particulars should fill out this questionnaire.

The hearing concerns allegations that Juan Carlos Saavedra misappropriated or otherwise failed to account for monies that he obtained from a client and failed to cooperate with an investigation by the MFDA into his conduct.

At all material times, Juan Carlos Saavedra conducted business in the Calgary, Alberta area. He is not currently registered in the securities industry in any capacity.
