Moshe A. Milevsky (Vice-Chair)
Moshe A. Milevsky, Ph.D. is a tenured professor at the Schulich School of Business at York University, where he teaches -- and is responsible for supervising -- the MBA and BBA elective courses on personal financial planning. He has published over 65 peer-reviewed scholarly articles and 17 books, mostly focused on financial, insurance and investment topics. In particular, he is a world recognized expert on the economic history, mathematical design and statistical analysis of “investment products” that help consumers manage and protect against longevity risk towards the end of the human lifecycle. In addition to being a popular academic instructor and keynote speaker, he has worked as a fintech entrepreneur, financial consultant to industry, legal expert witness and counsellor to regulatory agencies in both Canada and the US during the last 25 years.
